PROCEEDINGS OF THE KARNATAKA HISTORY CONGRESS
The Proceedings of the Karnataka History Congress is a research journal Publishing annually with ISSN number under the title Studies in Karnataka History and Culture.
It is a publication containing research papers presented by scholars and researchers in the annual session of the Karnataka History Congress held in the previous year.
Research papers presented in the academic session and recommended by the sectional President will be reviewed by the Peer Review Committee and the Editorial Board. Only such papers will be considered for publication.
EDITORIAL BOARD
Publication of the journal is supervised by an Editorial Board, which consisting of the Chief Editor, members of the Editorial Committee. The members of the Peer Review Committee, Editorial Committee and Editors are nominated by the Executive Committee of KHC for a term of two years from well-experienced and renowned scholars among the members of the Organization. PEER-REVIEW COMMITTEE
A Peer-Review Committee consisting of senior, knowledgeable and experienced members of the Karnataka History Congress would be constituted to review the research papers presented in the academic session. The Peer-Review Committee reviews and recommends research papers in terms of authenticity, originality and other basic qualities following the style manual before submission for publication. RESEARCH PAPER STYLE MANUAL
- Those who present research papers in the academic session and submit them for publication must adhere to the rules laid down by the organization.
- The research papers should be based on original research that provides new data and interpretation on any aspects, focusing on the history, heritage and culture of Karnataka.
- The paper should include the title, author's name, full address, organization membership, phone number and email ID.
- The research paper should be computer typed in MS Office Word-Process using Times New Roman size 12 font, in About 10 pages with page numbers.
- Footnote numbers should be mentioned at the bottom of respective pages in the research paper. Full details of sources with endnotes should be recorded at the end of the paper.
- The respective authors are responsible for the information and opinion expressed in the research article. The article should avoid all forms of plagiarism.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to review each paper with the help of the Peer Review Committee. Also, the committee reserves the right to publish or reject it. The Board has the right to reject or edit the paper while it is considered for publication in the Journal.
PRICE OF EACH COPY AND BACK VOLUMES
- The price of the hard copy of the Journal is fixed at Rupees 200/- and back volumes of the Proceedings are available with the General Secretary of the Organization.
COPY RIGHT
- The General Secretary of the Karnataka History Congress is the publisher of the journal and owns the rights to the journal and articles published by him. Scholars who publish the same papers in other books, academic journals must obtain permission from the General Secretary to use the same data. The Executive Committee reviews additions and changes in copyright provisions of Proceedings research articles published by the Karnataka History Congress.
